I upgraded my pc with vista and went thru the steps of connecting my extender on my 360. The media center so far is working fine on the pc. My 360 can connect and get a list of recorded shows and music. Any time I try to run a recorded show or live TV I get a "Video Error" on my Xbox that says the host pc does not have the files or drivers necessary to send video to my Xbox. At the same time I receive an error on my pc that says media center video analysis process stopped working and was closed. Also, I now cannot connect to my other pc with xp media center at all. Anyone have a fix?

Media Center Extender problem
Where is everybody getting the Vista-360 MCExtender? I filled out the form a while ago and seemingly everybody has gotten it. Did I miss something somewhere?
PS : Sorry for the OT, it's getting me a little irritated now.

No prob I feel ya. All of the setup for the extender is in the windows vista media center. You would go thru the setup process on your 360 just like norm and get your 8 digits. Then go to your vista box and do the setup on that side. There is no need to download the exe from Xbox.com/pcsetup because its all in the media center. During the setup it will ask you if you want to copy the settings over to your Xbox. If you choose yes it will give you the new interface for your Xbox. Unfortunately I have not been able to get my Xbox 360 extender to work with xp media center after the update.
